Mermonte is an orchestral pop band from Rennes, France, founded by Ghislain Fracapane.
11 musicians play a joyful music. They create their own universe with glockenspiels, drums, bass, trumpets… and both french and english lyrics.
Their first album, very catchy, may remind you of the danish band Efterklang and the Japanese musician Shogu Tokumaru.
Each song of the second album (“Audiorama”) is named after a friend and reflects his personality.

Mermonte est un groupe de pop orchestrale rennais créé par Ghislain Fracapane.
Ces 11 musiciens jouent une joyeuse musique et ont réussi à créer un univers qui leur est propre grâce à une tripotée d’instruments (glockenspiels, batterie, basse, trompette…) et des paroles à la fois en français et en anglais.
Leur premier album, très entraînant, pourra vous rappeler le groupe danois Efterklang ou le Japonais Shogu Tokumaru.
Chaque morceau du deuxième album (« Audiorama ») est nommé d’après un ami et reflète sa personnalité.
